Controlling weeds in camelina with innovative herbicide-free crop management routes across various environments - Margot Leclère, Marie-Hélène Jeuffroy, Arnaud Butier, Christophe Chatain, Chantal Loyce – Industrial Crops and Products 2019

This study aimed at assessing the effect of four crop management routes on weed biomass and camelina yields across various environments in northern France. Doubling camelina sowing rate, intercropping with barley or pea, or pre-emergent herbicide. Doubling the sowing rate and intercropping with peas seemed to be promising alternatives to reduce weed competition without using herbicides.
