Advanced Sustainable BIOfuels for Aviation - Preliminary Environmental Assessment. Bio4A Horizon2020 Grant 789562. Prepared by: CENER (Lead), Camelina Company, TOTAL, RE-CORD, SkyNRG

In this report it was studied the value chain of biojet fuel produced from Camelina crop in Spain. As it is a theoretical value chain based on how the final product is going to be produce and commercialized, different options for transportation and other key paramenters have been studied in order to assess its impact in the final result. These preliminary results show that Camelina value chain can meet REDII reduction requirements when it is cultivated in degrade land areas. Taking into account that Camelina could achieve GHG emission saving up to 73-87% depending on the scenario studied.
