Use of dietary oil, solvent-extracted meal and protein concentrate from Camelina sativa for rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss, at the early fry stage - Jing Lu, Sean M. Tibbetts, Santosh P. Lall, Derek M. Anderson - Aquaculture 2020

The effects of using dietary camelina oil (CO), solvent-extracted camelina meal (SECM), and camelina protein

concentrate (CPC) in early fry diets for rainbow trout were evaluated, with an emphasis on intestinal health. Up to 100% of added dietary fish oil was replaced with CO without adverse effects. There was no evidence of enteritis as hindgut morphology was not affected by dietary inclusion of up 18% SECM or 12% CPC.
